Scaffold building

This page documents the initial build of a LabBot. All the parts are designed in OpenSCAD, the function that displays all of the parts together.

Here is what it looks like when you are done.

The first step is to refer to the left_outside_frame_wider_zbed() function figure out the side extrusions. Its the same function used for the right side too. So it looks like this and the following extrusions using the Misumi syntax are listed:

  1. HFS5-2040-489.5-TPW-Z5 (2 units)
  2. HFS5-2020-489.5-TPW-Z5 (2 units)
  3. HFS5-2020-564-TPW-Z5-XA70-XB363-XC554-YA70-YB363 (2 units)
  4. HFS5-2020-564-TPW-Z5-XA70-XB363-YA70-YB363-YC554 (2 units)
  5. HFS5-2020-273-TPW (4 units)
  6. tslotinnerbracket() (8 units) (or Misumi equilavent)

Now its ready to put the panels on. So these are cut at Ponoko. There are placeholders to connect electrical devices. Not all of them are being used and are closed up using 3D printed parts. Here is the list of panels, ready to be cut at Ponoko http://www.ponoko.com.
